Creating Videos for YouTube
If you have previewed any of the videos I have completed and posted on YouTube , you know one of them addresses my difficulties with technology and the intuitiveness of it (or lack of)! I found this great little device that makes it easy though….. even for me! It’s called a Flip Ultra Camera – here are some of it’s benefits:
- It’s lightweight and fits into your pocket
- It uses a couple of batteries so never needs charging (60 minute play time)
- The speaker and photo quality is decent (not professional quality, but good)
- Built into the camera is a program which converts videos into the correct format for uploading to YouTube (my favorite feature!)
- It connects directly to your computer with the "Flip" of a switch (I would recommend the accessory cable though – it will make it easier)

Hi Janet. I took your advice awhile back and got a flip camera. I just received it so I haven’t use it yet but you are correct. This is the easiest camera I have bought to use. a click of a button and you are recording. I haven’t tried making videos yet but I will be in the next week or so. I am looking forward to seeing how it works.
