Think of it, a job you love and plenty of money….. what’s the old saying - "Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life?" Why then do so many of us stay in unfulfilling jobs? Especially now with so much unpredictable volatility around us. Possibly that’s why you are giving up your visions, dreams, and passions - you need to pay the bills, you feel you need the security. You’re afraid to leave the known for the unknown.
Open your eyes though…. technology is wiping out some "jobs" as we’ve known them. (Not necessarily a bad thing, it’s progress, but it’s also change) Global competition is causing companies to cut to the bone. The banking and real estate fiasco will likely result in many more job losses. So what’s secure anymore? Look at all of the mortgage brokers and real estate professionals who once thought their paychecks would never end!
Ask yourself, do I want real career freedom ? Meaning something that gets you excited, provides balance and allows you to thrive financially . Meaning something that embraces and expands your talents and passions. Think about it….
You don’t need to go "cold turkey", but create a Plan B, while you’re collecting that so called "secure" paycheck. Start researching home-based businesses .
