Your Home-Based Business & Selling With Integrity
If you’ve been watching the news then you see how the media grabs something, hangs on like a pit-bull, and sometimes doesn’t report as objectively as their training has taught them. (My opinion anyway). Not that we aren’t experiencing a time like no other, and that we should be cautious…. If you’ve been looking for a home-based business you’re probably frightened away by some of the "hype" you read as well.
My colleagues, Dr. Bob Clarke and his wife Rosemary address this on their blog. Their platform is "The Truth and Nothing but the Truth". I support all that they say on their blog, and believe you can offer and sell (products & opportunities) with integrity and truth, treating your customers by the Golden Rule.
So when you’re launching your marketing plans consider:
- Advertising to your customer in the same way you want to be "marketed" to. What do you respond to, what turns you off….
- Using attraction marketing you will find that those who respond to you are "like minded", the ones you’d really like to work with
- Not short changing a (potential) customer by not telling the "whole truth" just to get the sale. You want to create a relationship for the long term. Your reputation is at stake
- Whether direct response advertising, online marketing, or over the phone, unlock your own creativity and talent with honesty & integrity - it will come back to you tenfold
Thanks Bob & Rosemary for the leadership you display truthfully, everyday!
Leave a comment about what integrity in marketing & advertising means to you
Until next time, J.

The sad truth is that many networking marketing companies have maintained practices of elusive if not down right deceptive business practices. Those practices are what has made this industry somewhat difficult. The wonderful thing is that honesty and integrity are practices that are catching on. Congratulations for being part of the change.

I have a firm belief in telling it like it is (you know that), sometimes turning away clients who really are not ready to spend money. I try like crazy to steer them toward helpful, useful information so they can make informed decisions before the wallet opens. Your post hits me just right

It is a shame to get a “bad rap” for how (some) others might present themselves less than honestly. Even if your business is slow to grow out of the chute because of maintaining integrity - it helps to be able to sleep at night! Thanks for stopping by, To Your Continued Success!
