CarbonCopyPro Marketing Event & Attraction Marketing
The CCPro Marketing event was presented to a full house this past Saturday and the line up of speakers had everyone on the edge of their chairs. Literally! The room was so full, there wasn’t space for tables. We were all sitting shoulder to shoulder with notepads in our laps.
Aaron Parkinson and Jay Kubassek, the co-founders of Carbon Copy Pro have embraced the fact that marketing is not just about selling. It’s about building a relationship or "Attraction Marketing ". There is no better authority on this than Mike Dillard who is the author of Magnetic Sponsoring . I highly recommend his programs. While he wasn’t an official speaker at the event this time - the day focused on the principles he teaches.
Here are a few of the concepts to think about:
- Never chase a sale
- People don’t buy a drill because they want a drill, they buy one because they want a hole
- Explain what you and your products can do for them (not the features and benefits), but answer how their life can be changed (either more time, more money, better health, etc.)
- Be real. Sounds simplistic, but sharing personal info for some is difficult. Share a little about yourself - your interests, hobbies, pets, and opinions. People like to be associated with "like minded" people - after all, that might be the trigger point which "attracted" them to you

Below is a picture of me with the guys at one of the Saturday evening "invitational" cocktail parties. Aaron Parkinson is on the left, then me, Mike Dillard, and Jay Kubassek on the far right. These gentlemen are brilliant internet marketers. I’ll share more about the event in future posts.

How do you apply attraction marketing to your business?
Until next time, J.

Hi Janet,
Great to see you again at the Dallas CC PRO Marketing Event. What a fantastic meeting! For me, the best part is that we get to pick the brains of some of the top marketers in the world, like Jay, Aaron, and Mike.
Hope to see you in Marco Island in November!

Having attended that one seminar with you here in Vegas, I must say this is a first class group of individuals (and a lot of them here attending the Las Vegas conference) who take the time to present useful, helpful, and innovative ways to help others make money through their program both online and offline. And, great photo!
