Adios Amigos - Why You Should Automate Your Home Business

This week my posts will be minimal (if any, other than the one you’re reading) as I’m off on vacation, cruising to Mexico.  However, my home business is still working for me while I’m gone - how about yours?

The reason I can generate leads and sales while traveling is because of the systems in place.  If you want to be able to travel and work simultaneously here are some suggestions of items to address when exploring a home based business:

  • Can your products and /or services be marketed through articles, press releases, and banners?  These methods provide "perpetual" advertising, always pointing back to you, even in your absence.
  • Do you use Google, or Yahoo adwords?  If you don’t know how to get started, will your coach/mentor provide free training?  Once a campaign is setup and optimized it can "run and work" a long time for you.  (Hint - it can be tweaked to run by itself)
  • When someone sees your "opportunity" or "product", and becomes an interested "lead", is there an automated system in place that maintains communications with them? (ie: Auto-responders)
  • When a person becomes even more interested requesting additional information, does your company have a Call Center the places calls to them on your behalf to answer their questions? (Another reason I can leave for a week, an in-house team working with me)
  • Are payments automated, so someone can join you at any time?
  • Do you have access to trainings 24/7?  Whether they are tutorials, word docs, or live calls, a new person can get the support needed. (See a theme as to why I can still operate a lucrative home business while traveling?)

My husband and I are celebrating anniversary #2.  (No, not #20, but #2, we got a late start!)  Here’s our wedding picture - on the beach at Trunk Bay in St. John, U.S.Virgin Islands (taken by our cab driver!)

Every day I’m thankful for the life my home business allows me to lead!

What criteria do you look for when evaluating if a business is right for you? :-)

Until next time - Adios!  J.

Great information AND a gorgeous picture! The words, “Wish I was there!” come to mind, though I’m sure you would not have appreciated that at the time LOL! Have fun this week!

Have a great time in Mexico Janet- your business model is terrific. That is exactly how it should be. Folks don’t want to begin a home business to be glued to the phone 12 hours a day!
