Obama or McCain - Get Out and Vote

Tomorrow is a day many have been waiting anxiously for - the day many say will have historic significance. If Obama wins, he will be the first black president. If he doesn’t win, I’ve read that it will be "the biggest collective error in the history of media and political establishment". We won’t know for sure until all the votes are counted, it appears this one may be close.

This will be an election that every vote will make a difference - regardless of who your choice is. We are fortunate that we are able to vote without fear of retribution, we are fortunate that women are allowed an equal vote (scary, but some countries still don’t allow it). And, in spite of all the mud slinging each side continues to participate in, (because we are allowed free speech), there are sources for getting to the real issues and information so you can make an informed decision.

So go out tomorrow and participate. Don’t just be an observer and then complain if your "choice" didn’t win. Be a part of the solution, not a part of the problem. In my opinion, if you don’t vote - I don’t want to hear you "whining" afterwards!

Will you be a participant or an observer tomorrow? :-)

Until next time, J.
