4 Content Distribution Methods for More Traffic and More Sales

If you want to take your business to the next level (online or offline), you need to take action. Have you heard the saying, "massive action = massive results"? Without customers your business won’t survive, so why not go for the "massive"….

The first step to more customers is generating more traffic. To do this you may want to consider synchronizing your content distribution channels. Develop a weekly plan to maximize your sites exposure by including actions such as:

  • Online press releases - use press releases to get the word out about a product breakthrough, a contrarian viewpoint, or "re-purpose" one of your articles. Most important is that it’s newsworthy. There are several low cost or free sites to post these to.
  • Publish articles - These should be keyword driven, with relevant and interesting content. The author Bio box will direct those interested in what you have to say back to your site(s). Also, Google loves good content.
  • Blog posting - Again, the "content monster" (Google) loves Blogging. As with articles, posts get noticed more when keyword driven.
  • Social networking sites - such as MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, etc. This method is one of the fastest growing marketing media methods online, and it’s not just for teenagers anymore. Add pictures, videos, and links to drive traffic back to your website. (Before you start commenting, learn the rules of the site as they’re all slightly different and you don’t want to get booted off.)

Determine the best frequency of doing each of these, and then be consistent. By increasing your "visibility" on the web, you can gain hundreds, if not thousands, of new prospective customers.

Did you notice that the suggested strategies are low to no cost? Even on the tightest budget you can market successfully. To learn more about this visit, Building On A Budget .

Please leave a comment about what strategies you use to drive more traffic to your site(s) :-)

Until next time, J.
