Get Your Website Listed Today
I’m talking about in the directories…. Are you listed with major search engines ? If not you should be, as many people search the directories for businesses. Some of these directories are free , while some require a small fee , but I suggest you get listed with as many as possible because they are effective . Listings with directories also create those wanted back links to your site as well, which will help with your "organic" rankings. There are literally thousands of sites you can be listed with, but here are a few you can springboard off of:
- www.yahoo.com
- www.01webdirectory.com
- www.google.com
- www.abilogic.com
- www.hotbot.com
- www.bigall.com
- www.aol.com
- www.joeant.com
- www.oneseek.com
- www.dmoz.org
They do take a little time to register with, so just do a few a day if that’s all your time will allow. The key is to get started though. Another alternative is to post a listing on either Craigslist or Elance.com for someone to provide this service for you.
