The Most Effective Way To Market To Today’s Moms

November 7th, 2008 -- Posted in Home Business Ideas, Marketing Tips, Wealth Strategies | 1 Comment »

Today, I want to share with you a source I periodically use, and the recent email I received from this group. They have a plethora of information on any target market you may want to know more about. Here’s the latest from them…..

As with most groups, there is no homogenous "moms market."

There are nuclear family moms. Traditional moms. Working moms. Military moms. Single moms. Lesbian moms.

There are motherless moms. Teen moms. Neurotic moms. Black moms. Moms with Ph.Ds.

You get the idea.

And while each of these subgroups — and scores more — has certain unique characteristics, there are also common bonds that cut across most mom groupings.

The research study What Moms Think & Do, just issued by EPM Communications, publisher of the monthly newsletter Marketing To Women, continue reading »

Has Change Come to America?

November 5th, 2008 -- Posted in Carbon Copy Pro, Home Business Ideas, Misc Ranting, Wealth Strategies | 1 Comment »

Wow! What an amazing election we all witnessed yesterday. By the looks of the landslide victory Obama had, it seems that America has spoken and are all hopeful for a major change (not to mention ready for one).

We are still in deep trouble economically though, and his team certainly has their work cut out for them. After the celebrations wear off, it’s back to reality, while we watch to see if Obama truly is the "chosen one" to make a difference.

The stock markets are down again today with news of many new job losses. I read that the belief is continue reading »

If you want to take your business to the next level (online or offline), you need to take action. Have you heard the saying, "massive action = massive results"? Without customers your business won’t survive, so why not go for the "massive"….

6 Steps to Creating Your Ultimate Retirement Plan

October 30th, 2008 -- Posted in Home Business Ideas, Retirement, Wealth Strategies | 1 Comment »

Have you ever met or known someone who is living in retirement the way you have dreamed of?  Do you have a "role model" that you can talk with, and see how they accomplished their dream?

I’ve been blessed to have observed very closely such a couple - my parents.

Each Fall they always take an adventure trip for at least a month.  They are currently in Egypt riding camels, riding in a hot air balloon at sunrise over the pyramids, and cruising down the Nile river.  Wow!  Do I want to experience life like that, by being a participant versus an observer! continue reading »

Adios Amigos - Why You Should Automate Your Home Business

October 27th, 2008 -- Posted in Home Business Ideas, Vacations and Fun, Wealth Strategies | 2 Comments »

This week my posts will be minimal (if any, other than the one you’re reading) as I’m off on vacation, cruising to Mexico.  However, my home business is still working for me while I’m gone - how about yours?

The reason I can generate leads and sales while traveling is because of the systems in place.  If you want to be able to travel and work simultaneously here are some suggestions of items to address when exploring a home based business:

Free Traffic with Web 2.0 Strategies

October 23rd, 2008 -- Posted in Carbon Copy Pro, Marketing Tips, Wealth Strategies | 4 Comments »

Jimmy Davis and Dennis Karganilla of the MLM Goldmine were presenters at the CCPro marketing event last weekend. It is so refreshing to see a person’s passion come out in their work. They even shook it up with Dennis, aka "DK", performing a break dance at the end of their training!

These guys deliver, by providing practical strategies that could be put into motion immediately. They’re both fans of Mike Dillard’s also, so the theme of Attraction Marketing was continued. They call it "MyStory " marketing, which is based on providing copy to draw people to you and getting them to feel your emotions.

Their bragging rights include generating more than 1 million leads using FREE marketing. Here are some of the sites they recommend using continue reading »

4 Tips to Teaching Kids How to Manage Money

October 22nd, 2008 -- Posted in Misc Ranting, Vacations and Fun, Wealth Strategies | 1 Comment »

I grew up in a pretty conservative household when it came to saving and spending money. Guess that’s why I started teaching my daughter, Mikaila, when she was young (& the other kids in my life) to be responsible with their money early on. By the way, she’s the baby and just turned 21 today! Happy Birthday kiddo!

I believe in giving children an allowance for two reasons. One, it instills in them a sense of pride completing a responsibility and receiving something tangible for their efforts. But secondarily (& most important I think), is to teach them how to manage money early on.

I gave the kids 4 "piggy banks" when they were about 4 years old and explained continue reading »

CarbonCopyPro Marketing Event & Attraction Marketing

October 21st, 2008 -- Posted in Carbon Copy Pro, Home Business Ideas, Marketing Tips, Retirement, Wealth Strategies | 2 Comments »

The CCPro Marketing event was presented to a full house this past Saturday and the line up of speakers had everyone on the edge of their chairs. Literally! The room was so full, there wasn’t space for tables. We were all sitting shoulder to shoulder with notepads in our laps.

Aaron Parkinson and Jay Kubassek, the co-founders of Carbon Copy Pro have embraced the fact that marketing is not just about selling. It’s about building a relationship or "Attraction Marketing ". There is no better authority on this than Mike Dillard who is the author of Magnetic Sponsoring . I highly recommend his programs. While he wasn’t an official speaker at the event this time - the day focused on the principles he teaches.

Here are a few of the concepts to think about: continue reading »
